Dear Sir,
please let me explain my problem:
I have installed everything like in your PDF and Video. There is no Error or smth.
The problem is, that my bed is uneven, and the BLTouch does not compensate.
I printed 5 Tiles for calibration on each side (2xLeft, 2x Right, 1x Middle).
The Result (with BLTouch) is underwhelming:
Some Tiles are printed too low -> Gunks/cloggs up, tears in the middle or even get dragged to another location
Even worse, sometimes its waaay too low -> leaving marks on my Bed
And some Tiles are printed too high -> (The Lines do not merge together)
-> This all indicates to me that there is no bed leveling applied at all.
Another curiosity is that after I apply the „Start Z-Offset“ (just like in your Video) and then get back to a print and then apply the „Start Z-Offset“ again, the Nozzle gets smashed onto the bed.
Even Baby-Stepping mid-print does not help. One of the Tiles always gets messy.
I disassemblied the Printer and checked the wiring. Seems ok in my opinion. (What confuses me is that the arrangement you showed in your Video seems to work for me [Yellow,Orange,Brown,White]) -> Maybe its not V4 ?
There are my guesses but I am not sure how to check if these may be true:
- The "Values" are not saved.
- The BL-Touch Z-Offset Value written into the memory is always something like 0 (maybe Cable faulty?).
- Nozzle is damaged (unlikely imo)
Since I did Print 600grams of this Filament before the upgrade without any problems, I dont think that my Bed temperature, Speed, ... is the problem. These variables have not been changed.
My first 3 Gcode lines are:
G28 ; home all axes
G29 ; probe time
M500 ; Save Probe
Can you please help me? Do you need pictures?
I am not sure what to do…
