Weird retraction issue.
« on: October 06, 2020, 09:01:41 AM »

first of all thanks for all the effort you put into making the Sidewinder X1 Waggster mod. I've got one issue and one suggestion to even it out  ;)

The suggestion would be to fork Marlin Firmware on GitHub and apply your patch there in case someone wants to add more changes or help maintain it.

The issue is with weird retraction, I've managed to reproduce it a couple of times and it seems to me that when running a print over USB from OctoPrint and using baby stepping, if you hit upon a line running retraction in the code there is a high chance of retraction ejecting all the filament until it's unable to grab it again. And it sends a checksum error on the TFT.

Any ideas how to solve that? I've had it also happen when not touching the LCD at all, seems to be some kind of command interference from the LCD.
