CR10 V2 ABL issues
« on: September 14, 2020, 07:51:22 PM »
Hello, I seem to be having a problem with ABL using inductive probe with Marlin 2.0. I have a CR10 V2 machine with 2208 silent steppers creality board.

Validating endstop condition via M119 shows the probe is working. If the #define Z_MIN_ENDSTOP_INVERTING and #define Z_MIN_PROBE_ENDSTOP_INVERTING FALSE, homing works if I make the sensor prior to homing. If I use a regular limit switch, again set to false, works as it should. Both change states via M119 when made or unmade.

The probe needs to be set to true for endstop inverting so the non made state is open via M119.

So, I change the endstop inverting:
#define Z_MIN_ENDSTOP_INVERTING true
#define Z_MIN_PROBE_ENDSTOP_INVERTING true

Now, when I probe with M119 I get OPEN for the proximity state when not activated. Good huh?!

Perform auto home and the Z axis moves up, then up, then up and stops. So I make the sensor prior to homing and it does the same thing.
Then I connect the OEM home switch and it does the same thing.

Inductive or capacitive sensor do the samething. They are NPN N.O. sensors.

Flash back to Marlin 1.x.x and it works properly.
