You need to adjust your z offset.. have a look at this video. so, you will need to keep tapping minus which will bring your head down when printing.. then when you're happy, just restart the print. From then on it will use those settings for all prints you changed and that's it :-)

Nice, I got mine off Amazon but have since used a couple of the 3D Touch's from TriangleLabs with good results, no dropped pins yet, and about 200 hours print with the clone.

Hi, sorry to hear of your problems, can you take a photo of your cable connects for me?
Sadly the firmware isn't compatible with the standard Z sensor so you will need to flash back.
Thanks,
Steve

It sounds like your endstop microswitch is triggered all the time. If you can connect it up to a PC and run a M119 command it will tell you if it's triggered or not. Just double-check the wires to it..

Hi, double-check you have reset your eeprom. If you don't do this then it won't save the levels and it won't work.

Hi, sorry been on holiday for a week. Will try and help if I can.
Can you let me know just whats going on please. At what point is it going to the right, is it after the G28 Home command where it goes to the left, then moved the bed back, then goes to the centre and lowers?
Thanks,
Steve

So but I can't help as I've not had or played with one of these boards. The first thing I would check is that the endstops are working correctly. Sending a M119 command give the conditions of these stops. I would then trigger each one in to whilst sending another M119 and seeing if it then said triggered. Once I knew it was okay I would then move onto adding the BLTouch as I would know I had a working base to work from.

Hi, just wondering if you reset your eepom, or load default settings, then save them via the LCD screen. Without doing this I dont think it saves anything.

you can't do this from the touchscreen but you could write them to a gcode file and run it as a print. Otherwise you can just compile up a new firmware for the mainboard. The eeprom is enabled so if you're doing the gcode then make sure you add a M500 to save them.

Your board seems okay. When you updated your touchscreen did it say updating and then start copying over all the files when you powered it on?

the serial port should be fine, dont need to mess with any of that. The com speed baud rate needs to be the same on both but you should be able to flash with the default one to make sure it's all working. When you flashed your board were you able to communicate with it via a PC.. ie send a G28 command and it homed?

That looks okay, not sure why then. Have you changed the baud rate at all on either?
